Australian Drilling Associates Pty Ltd and Axis Well Technology Ltd

Australian Drilling Associates Pty Ltd and Axis Well Technology have executed an Agreement of Technical Alliance.  Under the terms of the Agreement, the companies have agreed to work together in the North Sea region and other areas to develop and support business pursuant to a mutually beneficial relationship.  Each company will assist the other as appropriate with technology, experience and local knowledge in order to provide the cost effective and optimum services to our customers.

Australian Drilling Associates is an International Drilling Project Management and Well Engineering company with headquarters in Melbourne, Australia, and offices in Brazil, Colombia and Perth, WA. 

Axis Well Technology is an independent well engineering and sub-surface support consultancy, providing a range of services that include technical support and expertise for the design, planning and implementation of well operations, including drilling engineering, well testing, completions, interventions, workovers and petroleum engineering. Axis also provides placement services for specialist engineers and oilfield experts.

Australian Drilling Associates is an International Drilling Project Management and Well Engineering company with headquarters in Melbourne, Australia, and offices in Brazil, Colombia and Perth, WA. 

Upstream Solutions is Project Management, Well Engineering and Operations Management Services Company, primarily based in India (Onshore) with headquarters in New Delhi. The company is promoted by a group of Drilling professionals with over 18 yrs of individual drilling experience in the field of well engineering, UBD, Drilling Supervision.

ADA at Good Oil Conference

ADA will this year be exhibiting at the Good Oil Conference, booth #4, and we welcome you to visit us during the exhibition days of 1-2 September 2009, at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle, Western Australia. During this forum for Australian explorers and producers to promote prospects and opportunities we will be available to advise on matters relating to the engineering and drilling phase of any exploration or development project.

ADA to manage drilling of Spikey Beach-1

On behalf of Beach Petroleum, ADA will manage the drilling of the Spikey Beach-1 well in Australia’s Bass Strait using the Ocean Patriot Semi-submersible. ADA performed the well engineering services, and will manage the daily operations once the rig is handed over, which is expected for late August 2009, for the duration of the program.

Songa Venus Drilling Consortium recommenced
21 August 2009
After the successful completion of Zeus-1 for  MEO Australia earlier in 2009, ADA  has recommenced the Songa Venus drilling program during August. The rig has been mobilized to the Timor Sea area, and is currently drilling the first of a total three wells for CNOOC Ltd. Upon completion of the CNOOC Ltd program the Songa Venus will move to the Browse basin for an additional 3 wells operated by other members of the ADA managed Songa Venus drilling consortium. ADA provides Well Engineering and Drilling Project Management Services to all consortium participants.
